First off, if you understand the reference above, I'm pretty sure we need to be friends. ;)
I am a Maine wedding photographer based out of the Augusta area and have lived here my entire life (literally, my husband and I built our house on the road I grew up on).
My husband and I met in college and have been married for 11 years. We have two little boys that keep us busy and our house a disaster. They've been my (unwilling) models for years now and I learned to use my first DSLR camera by taking photos of them.
MY PHOTOGRAPHY JOURNEY
My first memories of loving photography are back when I was around 12 years old and I borrowed my grandfather's "fancy" camera. I have no idea what type of camera it was or why he even had it to be honest, but I knew it created these beautiful bokeh filled photos and felt so "professional". I would set it up and take pictures of myself (like any good 12 year old will), pictures of my little brother, my cat and my best friend. At one point I had considered pursuing photography as a career, but was slightly discouraged after an interest in sports photography didn't really pan out.
Fast forward to 2015 when my first son Chase was born. I had been toying with the idea of purchasing a DSLR and teaching myself how to really use it (meaning I would challenge myself to switch out of auto mode). My husband encouraged me to go for it, plus I had the perfect little model to practice on! And the rest is history...

I specialize in intimate Maine weddings (I am also willing to travel!!), couples sessions, and maternity photos. I also offer senior/graduate and family sessions on a limited basis. I've recently taken the plunge into making photography my full time focus and I couldn't be more excited about having more availability now to expand my bookings!
