summer golden hour | dan + Melissa
There is definitely a good reason why golden hour is the most popular time of day for photographers to love shooting their sessions. The tones that the setting sun create are so warm and magical. I have a serious love for the effect that wheat colored tall grass provides and this spot has an abundance of fields that make me so happy. Melissa and Dan frolicked through a field with me (ok, Melissa tried to frolic...my instructions to "act like a gazelle" didn't exactly work out like we thought they would) and danced and snuggled throughout their session. Melissa's favorite movie is Dirty Dancing, so obviously we tried to recreate the iconic dance/lift combo (the lift proved to be a little bit more challenging). ;)
