Oceanside Wedding | Matthew + Ashley
The ocean and coastline of Maine is a special part of Matt and Ashely's life together. They both mentioned Matt's love for his boat during their vows and we braved the cold in November for their beach engagement session, so it only made sense that they celebrated their wedding overlooking the gorgeous Portland Harbor from the Seawatch Room at Saltwater Grille, with a trip to Bug Light Park for some romantic portraits after the ceremony.
Ashley was positive that she wanted the first time Matt saw her on their wedding day to be when she walked down the aisle, but she was also positive that she wanted to have a special "first look" with her dad. He is such an important part of her life and seeing them share these special moments together (with his cowboy hat and Ford truck included) was so joyful and emotional.
Matt and Ashley included so many beautiful details into their wedding and it was a perfect September evening to celebrate with their closest family and friends. The sunset definitely didn't disappoint and it's pretty hard to beat the views from the docks at golden hour. Thank you Matt and Ashley for inviting me to spend this incredible day with you and your families!!
